How does the ProTee VX measure ball and club data, and what should I do if I notice discrepancies?

The ProTee VX measures ball and club data independently using high-speed cameras. This ensures clear insights into both sets of data:

  • Ball data (speed, direction, launch angle, and spin) is used to simulate full ball flight.
  • Club data is measured separately and does not affect ball data.

Only the ball data points—ball speed, launch angle, horizontal angle, spin axis, and total spin—are used to simulate the ball’s trajectory. Even if the VX is unable to measure club data, the ball will still launch with the expected shot shape.

Proper calibration is essential for accurate readings. You can consult here how the ProTee VX Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) works.

Rest assured, we're continuously improving AI detection. The reports you submit through ProTee Labs help refine these models, leading to better accuracy over time.
