Applies to Version: 2.93f6
Note: The interface settings do not require any major adjustments besides setting the port for communication with the sensor systems and the camera configuration. The default settings are tested to work with any type of player.
OPTIONS SCREEN (ProTeeGolf Interface -> Settings -> Options)
Use balltrack for putting [Select: Yes/No] [Default: Yes]
There are 2 putting methods available when putting from the base sensor system. When this value is set to "Yes" the system will use the ball speed and direction measured by the balltrack part of the sensor mat (method 1). When set to "No" the system will use the clubhead speed and direction to set the ball path and ballspeed. The ball speed is the clubhead speed x the Putting speed factor (default 1.2) set in the main settings screen (method 2). This setting will not apply to the ProTee Putting Sensors (different product).
Calculate launch angle [Select: Yes/No] [Default: Yes]
Without the Vertical Launch Camera the ball launch angle will be calculated by the base sensor mat. The clubspeed, club path, sweetspot position, attack angle, ball speed and direction measurements will all be used to determine the ball launch angle. When set to "No" the ball launch angle for a specific club will be taken from the club lofts set for each individual club. These values can be set in the Club Sets configuration screen.
Allow shank [Select: Yes/No] [Default: Yes]
A shank shot with a ball that does not pass the balltrack sensors will not be detected correctly and will behave different then expected. When set to "Yes" a shank shot will behave according to the Shank degrees slider. Example: A shank to the right not passing the ball track sensors will result in a shot to the left. This happens because the balltrack did not detect the ball passing on the right. The balltrack actually picked up the club passing the balltrack on the left. To prevent this and to detect the shank correctly the Shank slider needs to be set the right amount of degrees.
Shank at [Slider: 15 to 60 degrees] [Default: 30 degrees]
When a shank is detected by the system, the clubface open or closed must be greater than the value set. Example: When set to 30 degrees and a shank is detected the clubface angle must be greater than 30 degrees open or closed.
Bunker decrease factor [Slider: 0% to 75%] [Default: 20%]
When hitting from a Fairway Bunker the player must hit at least 20% harder/faster (clubhead speed) to cover the same distance as a normal fairway shot.
Green bunker decrease factor [Slider: 0% to 75%] [Default: 30%]
When hitting from a Greenside Bunker the player must hit at least 30% harder/faster (clubhead speed) to cover the same distance as a normal fairway shot.
Rough decrease factor [Slider: 0% to 75%] [Default: 15%]
When hitting out of the Rough the player must hit at least 15% harder/faster (clubhead speed) to cover the same distance as a normal fairway shot.
High rough decrease factor [Slider: 0% to 75%] [Default: 20%]
When hitting out of the High Rough the player must hit at least 20% harder/faster (clubhead speed) to cover the same distance as a normal fairway shot.
Fairway decrease factor [Slider: 0% to 75%] [Default: 0%]
When hitting of the Fairway the player must hit at least 0% harder/faster (clubhead speed) to cover the same distance as a normal fairway shot. We recommend not to change this setting.
Chipping mode distance to flag [Slider: 0 to 75 meter or yards] [Default: 0]
When a wedge has been selected and the ball is anywhere between the value set and the flag/hole the chipping mode becomes active. Backspin will be increased and multiplied by the value "Spinrate_increase_factor_wedge" set in settings.pgs file (default = 10 (1.0)).
Video Capture [Select: Yes/No] [Default: No]
When set to "Yes" the Video Capture system for the Vertical Launch Camera and Horizontal Ball Direction Camera will become active. Select the cameras to use: Vertical, Horizontal or Both. The V-Cam horizontal flip can be used to change the camera position from a front view (right handed player) to a back view. When changed the interface must be restarted to reinitialize the Vertical Launch Camera.
More details on installing the camera drivers can be found here.
More details on configuring the cameras can be found here.
Enable mobile connection [Select: Yes/No] [Default: no]
When set to "Yes" all shot data will be send to ProTee Golf Mobile 3D. The system will connect to the mobile device with the IP address set in the "Connect to IP address" input field. This input field will show when the mobile connection is enabled.
