Applies to Version: 2.93f6
Note: The interface settings do not require any major adjustments besides setting the port for communication with the sensor systems and the camera configuration. The default settings are tested to work with any type of player.
SETTINGS SCREEN (ProTeeGolf Interface -> Settings)
Measurements [Listbox: Metric/Imperial] [Default: Metric]
This setting only affects the values shown in the interface for configuration purposes and has no affect on the game itself.
Comm port [Listbox: Serial port number] [Default: Com1]
Set this value to the serial port of the computer the sensor system is connected to.
Use balltrack for ballpath calculation [Select: Yes/No] [Default: Yes]
If set to "Yes" (default) the system will use the balltrack sensor to measure the ball direction. If set to "No" the system will calculate the ball path with the following formula: ballpath = clubpath.
Putting speed factor [Slider: 0.5 to 2.0] [Default: 1.2]
This value is used to set the ball speed to the value set here times the clubhead speed when putting. This is only used when "Use ball track for putting" in Settings->Options is set to "No". Example: When putting the clubhead speed is measured 10mph. The ballspeed will be set to 10x1.2 = 12mph.
Use audio analysis [Select: Yes/No] [Default: Yes]
The base sensor system is equipped with a microphone to detect the ball impact and is part of the valid shot detection routine.
Audio sensibility putter [Slider: 2db to 100db] [Default: 2db]
When putting off the base sensor mat the intergrated microphone will detect the shot impact. The base audio level when not hitting any golf balls is set in the hardware to approx 47db. The value set here determines the minimum audio level difference required to qualify the shot. Example: When set to 10db the system requires at least a 10db audio level difference to qualify the shot as a valid shot. The audio level indicator in the "Debug Screen" which default shows approx 47db when not hitting any golf balls needs to go up to more than 57db to qualify the shot as a valid shot.
Audio sensibility clubs [Slider: 1db to 100db] [Default: 4db]
Same as above (Audio sensibility putter) but applies to driver, iron and wedge shots.
Audio noise reduction Iron7 up to driver [Slider: 1db to 100db] [Default: 6db]
Same as above (Audio sensibility putter and Audio sensibility clubs) but will add an extra value to iron7, iron6, iron5, iron4, iron3, iron2, iron1, woods and drivers.
Play mode [Slider: Professional/Intermediate/Beginner] [Default: Professional]
The clubface angle is measured by the sensor system. In Professional mode this reading remains untouched. When set to Intermediate the clubface angle will be reduced by 33%. When set to Beginner the clubface angle will be reduced by 66%. Example: The clubface angle measured by the sensors is 9 degrees open. When set to Intermediate the clubface angle used will be 6 degrees open. When set to Beginner the clubface angle used will be 3 degrees.
Min. clubspeed to launch ball [Slider: 0m/s to 40m/s] [Default: 2m/s]
The minimum clubhead speed required to qualify a shot as a valid shot. Putter excluded. Example: When set to 10 m/s a 20mph or 34kmh shot (clubhead speed) will not be launched.
Min. putterspeed to launch ball [Slider: 0m/s to 40m/s] [Default: 0m/s]
The minimum putter clubhead speed required to qualify a shot as a valid shot.
Max. swingspeed to launch ball [Slider: 50 m/s to 100m/s] [Default: 90m/s]
The maximum club head speed that can be detected by the sensor system. Speeds higher than the set value will prevent the ball from launching.
Ready for next shot after [Slider: 1s to 20s] [Default: 4 seconds]
The number of seconds to pass before the sensor system is released to accept a new shot after a valid shot has been detected. We recommend to leave this setting set to 4 seconds.
Sweet spot calculation [Select: Yes/No] [Default: Yes]
The sweetspot position (where the ball hits the clubface) is being measured by the sensor system. The sweetspot position is displayed on the shot analysis screen and used in the game physics engine to shape the shot. Select "No" to disable.
Password to open this Settings window [Password field] [Default: disabled]
A password can be set to prevent unauthorized changes made to the interface settings. This password will then be required when opening the ProTeeGolf interface settings screen.
