Yes, the ProTee VX can be mounted on a rail, but there are a few important considerations:
Stability: The VX must remain stable and securely fixed in place to ensure accurate tracking. A rail system should be rigid and not introduce any vibrations or movement.
Alignment: The unit must be properly aligned with the hitting area. If using a sliding rail system, ensure it locks into the correct position each time
Sliding Left to Right: Moving the VX side to side on a stable, straight rail is totally doable—just make sure the rail is solid and keeps the unit properly aligned every time you lock it into place.
Height Adjustability: Adjusting the height is only practical if you always use the VX at the same height. If you change the height and then want to use it, you’ll need to recalibrate to maintain tracking accuracy.
Power and Network Cables: Make sure the cables have enough slack or are managed properly to prevent strain or disconnection when moving the unit.
