My ProTee Labs software is unable to connect to the ProTee VX
Please check the following:
- Is the powercord connected to the ProTee VX and a power outlet
- Is the Ethernet Cable connected to the VX and to the supplied USB Ethernet Adapter
- Is the supplied USB Ethernet adapter connected to a USB 3.0 port on your computer
- Is the power switch turning red when you switch on the unit
- Do you see the 2 lights switch on for a couple of seconds after you switched on the unit
- Do you hear fan noise coming out of the unit
If the ProTee VX is still unable to connect, try to disable Windows firewall and/or antivirus software.
My ProTee Labs software and/or golf game is lagging when using extended displays (monitor + projector)
Make sure your monitor and projector are set to the same resolution and refresh rate frequency (Hz).
My ProTee Labs software stops at loading physics
Install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables on your PC using the following link: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
ProTee Labs requires .NET framework version 4.8.1
This framework should be already installed. Make sure you have installed all the latest Windows updates. Install .NET 4.8.1 manually using this link: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework/thank-you/net481-web-installer
Potential issues with white golf clubs and 2 ball putters
White golf clubs might cause potential issues with ball and club readings. For now we recommend not to use white golf clubs and 2 ball putters.
I want my game to show on my projector and ProTee Labs on another monitor
You can clone and extend dual displays in Windows. Cloning will show the same programs on both displays. By extending displays you can project your golf game on one display and ProTee Labs on another. More information on how to setup dual monitors: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/set-up-dual-monitors-on-windows-3d5c15dc-cc63-d850-aeb6-b41778147554
Potential performance issues when using GSPro
You can adjust GSPro graphics and resolution to increase performance. Adjusting V-Sync in GSPro (F key on your keyboard) will help to limit the maximum FPS which has a big impact when using ProTee Labs on dual screens. Here is a video explaining the various optimization options in GSPro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUGHz0dMey4
ProTee Labs is not showing the correct club
When a game like E6, TGC or GSPro is connected to ProTee Labs then the ProTee Labs club autodetect will not work. The club sent by a connected game will show in ProTee Labs. Make sure you select the correct club in the connected game in order to show the same in ProTee Labs.
Make sure a connected game is properly disconnected in order for ProTee Labs to switch back to the A.I. club detect system.
Dotted lines on the video are not showing perfectly straight
The 2 cameras are in front of the hitting zone and pointing down towards you in a 70 degrees angle. In order to produce a 3D (stereo-vision) image of the ballflight and clubswing, both cameras point towards eachother a couple degrees.
Unfortunately due to the position of the cameras, ProTee Labs can not produce a video from the top straight down. The video shown in ProTee Labs is the feed from 1 camera with the shot results projected on top.
Calibrating perfectly straight will help a a little and also making sure the calibration board is perfectly centered, but the dotted lines will never show perfectly horizontal and vertical accross the video.
The dotted lines on the video will show what the camera's identifies as straight. The colored lines will show the deviations in relation to the dotted lines.
